Lauren Sachs, a native washingtonian, founded L.S. Designs in 1994. Lauren received her fine arts/illustration degree from Syracuse University before beginning her career in the retail field of art. first as a buyer of American crafts for a local business, Lauren continued on to be an art consultant, placing original and reproduced art into commercial environment for government and corporate clients. Enjoying her work with architects and designers, she discovered her desire to enter the interior design industry. Lauren returned to school to continue her education at the interior design school at marymount university.

Known for her approach to design, from architectural conception of an entire home to a one room makeover, lauren is able to interpret her client’s vision for their home. using rich textures, unique architectural elements, decorative lighting, and comfortable furniture, lauren has created livable, warm, and inviting environments for many clients.
